We did not often know personally the artists contributing works for the Ocean Show. Janet showed up at Lincoln Center's Cork Gallery when we hung the Plastique show. She rolled in to the space in a wheelchair, with MS. Janet told us her motivation to create her ocean piece sprang from warm, sunny days fishing with her father. She told us the names of the fish.
