Mike Teters, Piscataway, N.J.

"I am a Board certified Medical Physicist and have been consulting for Medical Centers and private offices for ten years. Currently, I am the Program Director for Nuclear Medicine at the School of Health Related Professions at UMDNJ in Newark. I started taking my art more seriously about six years ago when I took some classes in printmaking. Since then, I have shown work in many venues. In New Jersey I have exhibited at the Hunterdon Art Center, the Print Making Council of New Jersey, Johnson and Johnson Corporate Gallery and currently at the Delann Gallery in Plainsboro.

I have progressed from traditional printmaking to mixed media pieces which incorporate techniques ranging from freehand drawing to alternative photographic methods.

If I could, I would make art my career and medical physics my hobby.
