"The Rainbow Knight"
is a wearable sculpture that was constructed for the Houston festival. when I
put it on, I was 8 1/2 ft tall. There are blinking lights set in the suit. It
was carved from polyurethane foam and then coated with resin and painted. The
staff is carved of walnut. With a cast aluminum gargoyle head that has red
lights for eyes. The staff took 4 months to make. It is my favorite costume
although I could not walk through normal doorways while so attired! |
The summer of '04 Little Bobby Duncan painted a 16 ft
wide mural in the ARTYARD's first artist residency.
Working under the trees and in a small barn with the
company of Neitche the cat and Chuck the dog.
Now the sun is
painted on the front of the trailer and the moon,
behind.
